Assistant Buyer

Support the Buying & Planning Team with operations to establish the optimum commercial cross channel assortment for related brands/regions, whilst maximizing the financial plan and respecting the category/brand objectives and direction.

• Assort, price and forecast the line
• Maintain the line in the IT system
• Order & track samples orders
• Track business performance weekly (SI, SO, GM, )
• Benchmark decisions against competition & broader market landscape
• Prepare & present the assortment at line opening meeting

• Define seasonal assortment needs upfront & share with Global Merchandising teams
• Contribute to brand elevation both on qualitative and quantitative point of view
• Participate/initiate business development projects

• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Office package
• Previous experience in an international environment (study or internship)
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in French and/or any other European language will be a plus.
• Highly organized whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage timelines and juggle priorities
• Strong team player with a resultsdriven attitude
• Effective communication skills at all levels, both written and spoken
