From a position of strength, The Estée Lauder Companies, established a Global Transformation Team to facilitate and steer all global major change programs impacting the longer term course of the Company.

This unique transformation capability is an industry-first approach to enabling the continuous evolution of our business into the future.

This includes the following:

  • Shifts needed to master the realities of an increasingly omnichannel world and hightouch consumer experience
  • Transformation underway to secure our market leadership in Asia, especially China, for the long term
  • Creation of an environment for accelerated brand and new business model incubation and acquisition/integration
  • Support business recovery and rebalance our business against the dramatic shifts to our distribution landscape and consumer behaviors in a postCOVID19 world


The objective of the Transformation Office is to ensure our strategic initiatives are aligned to enable the execution of our corporate strategy initiatives and pivots, help drive speed and agility in decision making, remove barriers to progress, and accelerate stronger integration across business units and functions.

The Global Transformation Team is responsible for driving the overall pace of change, assessing progress against clearly laid plans, and identifying interdependencies between programs and implications for our operating model.

The team is global, with part of the team being based in Wollerau, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic transformation initiatives by supporting a portfolio of shortterm projects and longterm initiatives within the Transformation Office as well as the project management for the portfolio of top enterprise priorities
  • Develop significant analytical work conducting benchmarks and analysis
  • Contribute to strategic insights by using detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to turn strategic priorities into actionable game plans
  • Supporting action orientation, connectedness, speed and agility across the enterprise as well as supporting the translation of ideas into action with accelerated delivery timeframes
  • Inform actionoriented recommendations to initiatives leader through the synthesis of internal data and competitive benchmarks
  • Manage overall project and implementation by supporting select workstreams such as ideation, drive analysis, inform recommendations and support the development of business cases
  • Work collaboratively across functions, both within and outside the Transformation Office, to connect the dots and integrate initiatives as needed

Qualifications Qualifications**:

  • At least 1 year of internship experience, with a minimum of 1 internship within strategy consulting or corporate development
  • Passion for prestige consumer categories
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, with excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Very strong analytical capabilities, including experience in excel modelling and analysis & synthesis of large datasets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, structure and communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and getting up to speed quickly in new circumstances
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid setting, with the possibility to be up to 50% in Home Office
