Packaging Procurement Intern

**Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a 6-month intern to join the Packaging Procurement team as part of our EMEA Supply Chain hub. In this role, you will be working on the various topics related to Packaging within the 6 months’ assignment:

- **Main categories**: glass, dispensing, sustainability.
- **Working closely with the Category Leads** for spend analysis, supply base management, supporting on contract management, supplier performance reporting, price negotiations, RFQs, business awards and sourcing strategy recommendations.
- **Support the acceleration efforts **on supply sufficiency, business continuity and regionalization for Fragrance category.
- **Management of end-to-end sourcing activity** for selected topics.
- **Contribute to cross-functional topics** i.e. harmonization by working closely with category leads & main stakeholders
- **Support ELC achieve its sustainable packaging goals**:

- Strategic: Work towards the 5Rs of packaging; recyclable, refillable, reusable, recycled, or recoverable. Focus: glass and resin.
- Tactical: Increase our usage of post-consumer recycled (PCR) material in packaging. Work to increase in-line flint glass packaging to at least 20% PCR.
- Operational: Health-check & share the PCR resin trackers used by Procurement to order PCR resin.

**Qualifications** Requirements**:
We are looking for a motivated, eager-to-learn student with strong academic records and ideally previous experience (internship, placement) either in procurement or supply chain. You have already had an experience abroad or have studied abroad and have strong analytical and presentation skills. You are an enthusiastic person, a fast learner, with very good communication skills. You have leadership experience through extra-curricular achievements. The business language is English, any other additional languages are a plus.
