Ferring+You

You will contribute to Ferring Switzerland strategy by leading operational excellence activities and projects across the site. You will be a key player in Ferring’s lean journey in order to shape an operational excellence culture, develop capabilities, achieve ambitious goals, sustain the performance and celebrate success.

Your day at Ferring

  • Lead and facilitate Operational excellence initiatives such as Hoshin and Kaizen event with cross functional teams. (5S, VSM, SMED, TPM, Standard work, Cell design, LSW, PPS...)

  • Drive expertise to teams as well as hands-on support on Lean/ Problem solving tools and skills.

  • Identify and quantify opportunities for improvement, manage the funnel of improvement, prioritize, communicate, promote, organize, act, improve and control.

  • Provide Lean training and support management on OPEX tools and techniques including change management.

  • Support & coach the operational teams on daily performance management (PSQDC).

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational excellence initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Ensure the compliance with GxP, EHS and other regulation or certification.

  • Act as a role model in line with the Ferring Leadership Principles.

Behind our innovation...There’s you

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or a related field

  • At least 5 years of operational excellence experience ideally in healthcare industry

  • Expertise in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies, Black belt certification is a plus.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven track record of successful implementation of operational excellence initiatives.

  • Professional English language (Spoken and Written)

  • Good command of Power BI, ERP (SAP) and Database management
