Our Opportunity:

Restaurant Brands International is looking for someone to join our Finance Team, working within our deals and development team. This role is critical to supporting the effort to grow RBIâs four brandâs (Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons and Firehouse Subs) across EMEA. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on development agreements with new and existing partners and includes responsibilities centered around sourcing new partners, building a bench of potential future partners and structuring and negotiating multi-year development agreements. This role leads financial, operational, and structural diligence, creates marketing material to pitch to new investors, and sources potential new franchisees.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing business development strategy for long-term growth of RBIâs four brands Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons and Firehouse Subs
  • Work to identify and attract quality investors/franchisees for expansion of our four brands across Europe, Middle East & Africa
  • Build and lead financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring.
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective partners, including in-person discovery days with prospective franchisees.
  • Directly negotiate development agreements with prospects, while liaising  between development, franchising and field teams to gather necessary insights for negotiations.
  • Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to executive level leadership.

Required Skills:

  • At least undergraduate bachelorâs degree, preferred fields: business, economics.
  • Required 3 -5 yearsâ experience. Previous working experience in consulting/M&A/private equity, investing will be an asset. 
  • Strong attention to detail with natural curiosity, proactive nature, and positive results driven attitude.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling background and understanding.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation background.
  • Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability, and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growth.
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally with a variety of teams and departments.
  • Swiss B or C permit or an EU/Swiss/Norwegian/Icelandic citizenship.
