IT BUSINESS APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST – REGION DACHIT
Workload | 100%
Location | Opfikon/Glattbrugg with possibility of Home Office

 

Your Tasks:

 

  • Manage a portfolio of business applications of the DACHIT region
  • Keep applications related information up to date (documentation, contract, licenses, certificates, ...)
  • Architect improvements and evolution of the applications landscape of the given portfolio and in alignment with the overall regional and global applications setup
  • Support colleagues in the usage of the application including application training activities
  • Manage projects, changes and integration of applications
  • Monitor the availability and performance of the applications portfolio
  • Ensure that full support model is in place - identifying gaps and addressing where needed
  • Liaise with developers and vendors as per requirements
  • Test and approve test results
  • Pro-actively manage and control licenses for operational needs
  • Adhere to Swissport policies and compliance standards
  • Reporting all aspects of quality for the assigned applications:
    • performance according to underlying Standard Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • user satisfaction
    • usage of the applications
    • incidents, problems, service request & changes related to the IT service(s)

 

Your Profile:

 

  • University degree in engineering, computer science or similar education
  • At least 3 years experience in IT Application Management and /or Project Management
  • Broad understanding of a business or service environment and awareness of the factors that influence business decisions and strategy
  • Knowledge of Visio or other diagram design tools are an advantage
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Fluent command of oral and written English as the corporate language; knowledge of any other language would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) in Europe
