Senior Employee Communications Manager (Hybrid - m/f/x/d - 80-100%)

About the role

Summary:

As Senior Employee Communication Manager, you will play a pivotal role in engaging and aligning employees with Business Unit (BU) strategies and must-wins, and in facilitating change. You will plan and deliver key internal communication campaigns and position senior leadership via impactful communication activities. You will bring relevant experience in internal/employee communications as well strong judgement to connect the dots across the Group.

 

About the role

Tasks:
    

  • End-to-end ownership of employee communications for BU initiatives (from concept to implementation) and positioning senior leadership
  • Pioneer fresh ideas and innovative communication formats to inform and align employees with the BU strategies and priorities
  • Create high-quality content for BU senior leadership – such as emails, blogs, video scripts
  • Organise events to engage employees
  • Advise on the right channel mix in order to effectively land messages with employees
  • Ensures effective sequencing and orchestration of communications
  • Measure the impact of communication activities to further improve the way we communicate

About you

 

Essentials:

  • A Master degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Political Science or Humanities 
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in internal/employee communications in a corporate environment, preferably in a matrix organisation 
  • Experience in planning and implementing internal communications campaigns, supporting global initiatives 
  • Confident in consulting internal stakeholders at all hierarchical levels 
  • Outstanding storytelling, writing and editing capabilities
  • Native English 

 

Nice to have:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Creative, open to new ideas – and able to pursue these independently
  • Visual communication, design or video editing skills
