Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Manager to join our exceptional team. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with our world-class brands and give to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving short-term and long-term bookings, revenue, and profit growth by leading international distributors in Europe and Africa. You will have the chance to implement robust sales management processes and collaborate closely with our distributors in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the industrial market vertical.
Responsibilities:
Deliver bookings and revenue commitments in accordance with targets
Maintain and develop customer base through distributor management and customer visits
Evaluate, mentor, and develop a sales team of channel partners
Define and implement new sales processes and capabilities
Drive visibility and accountability through improved pipeline and forecast management
Develop and implement efficient sales strategies in key regions
Requirements:
Equivalent experience in business or technical science is acceptable, with a preference for candidates with a University Degree or advanced degree.
Minimum of 6 years of success as a channel manager or international sales person
Proven success in sales to industrial clients within the Metal Recycling, Fabrication, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, and Environmental markets
Experience within CRM tools like Salesforce.com and pipeline management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Travel Requirement: Encouraged travel 60% of time within Europe and Africa
