60% The successful candidate will become a part of the department of Business Administration of the University of Zurich, a leading research-oriented and international university that provides a stimulating, dynamic, and collegial working environment. Your responsibilities
- Develop and conduct empirical research on a topic within the field of the economics of innovation
- Assist with research projects related to the economics of innovation and digitization.
- Assist in teaching activities and/or in the supervision of Bachelor and Master's theses.
- Completed Master's degree in business, economics, econometrics, or related quantitative field of study, at the start of employment.
- Strong interest in empirical research in general, but also related to the economics of innovation and digitization.
- Background in econometrics and quantitative research methods, including hands-on experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Stata).
- Experience in web scraping, databases, and data science tools (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Ability to work both independently and in a team, with good organizational and communication skills. Strong command of English, written and spoken. German is not required.
