Job Overview

In this role you establish the CRM (Salesforce) as a key management and steering tool across our three regions EU, APAC, and the USA, and drive improvements of and training on the system. To achieve this, you will work closely with the entire Growth organization (Global Sales, Global Portfolio Strategy and Customer Solutions, Global Marketing, Alliance Management), other functions at SHL Medical (e.g., technology, finance, corporate strategy, supply chain etc.) as well as other SHL entities. Moreover, you help identify lead global sales excellence initiatives.  

Main Responsibilities

  • CRM management: Ensure that the CRM (Salesforce) reflects the Growth’s organization strategic priorities, the users’ ways of working, and the newest market advancements. Together with the global Growth leadership team monitor the CRM adoption and jointly identify areas for improvement. Initiate enhancements and updates as needed (e.g., customization of the CRM to align with the sales team’s processes, capturing relevant data and enabling efficient workflows) and at the same time be the point of contact for the sales team for business related change requests. You own and drive forward the implementation backlog in close alignment with the global Growth leadership team and the technical application owner. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices related to CRM, integrating relevant insights into the business.  
  • CRM enablement: Define and co-lead the CRM training per user groups, ensuring a thorough understanding of its capabilities and benefits. Develop training materials and document business processes reflected in the CRM, in our process repository system. Equip the super users with tools and materials and provide support if needed for them to succeed in their role. 
  • Continuous improvement: Set up dashboards, e.g., in CRM, that measure the performance towards the Growth’s organization strategic priorities, and towards the set sales targets. Help to foster the right performance dialogues in the organization and suggest initiatives to increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. Together with the Growth leadership team you might drive these initiatives forward.  

Minimum requirements

  • Work experience: Minimum of two years of experience working in a similar role. Experience from consulting is considered a plus.
  • CRM proficiency: Technical savviness and understanding of the applications landscape around CRM systems. High proficiency in and hands-on experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce. Relevant CRM certifications are considered a plus.  
  • Functional knowledge: Broad experience in sales and / or account management, marketing, or market intelligence. Demonstrated impact in driving commercial improvement projects and change management in an international environment. First experience with setting up and conducting training and development. In-depth knowledge of sales processes and sales performance management is considered a plus.  
  • Project management: Proven ability to initiate and drive cross-functional projects with stakeholder groups from diverse cultural backgrounds, internal and external audiences, and varying levels of seniority. Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others. 
  • Problem solving: Strong in analytical reasoning with the ability to provide pragmatic and impactful solutions to complex problems. 
  • Communication skills: Creative personality with high attention on quality, that convinces his / her audience with clear and easy-to-understand messages. Knows visual presentation (e.g., PPT) and engagement techniques (e.g., workshop facilitation). Adept with new digital channels. 
  • Driven mindset: Motivated to shape this newly established role and flexible to work with an evolving scope of responsibility. 
  • Fluent in English mandatory

Preferred qualifications

  • Additional language skills are considered an advantage. 
  • Industry knowledge: Working in or with B2B industries that have complex and technical products. Preferably experienced in the biotech, MedTech, and / or drug delivery device industry. 

Relevant Qualification/Education and Training

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business and / or economics
