Job description AC Immune is seeking a highly motivated trainee to join the Antibody
Engineering Team and support the development of innovative approaches to
enhance antibody delivery to the CNS and the identification of new
technologies to stabilize antibody fragments.
The project will comprise antibody engineering design, molecular biology,
transfection of mammalian cell lines, protein expression, and
characterization.
You will evolve in a dynamic, creative, positive and team-spirit oriented
environment where high degree of flexibility and creativity will be required.

Key Responsibilities The candidate must possess:

  • Knowledge and laboratory experience, including sterile cell culture
    conditions
  • Competence or knowledge in molecular biology, protein expression,
    purification, characterization and mammalian cell culture
  • Ability to prepare protocols, plan and perform laboratory work
    independently, diligently record his work and analyze data generated
    during experimental work

Qualifications & SkillsRequired:

  • Last year of a master’s/engineer degree in biotechnology or biology
    (specialized in cell biology / molecular biology / biochemistry)
  • Significant experience in a laboratory environment
  • Hands on antibody engineering will be a plus
