Your role will be pivotal in helping drive Machine Learning and GenAI initiatives at On and contribute across all parts of the technology ecosystem.
Your mission
Influential Leadership:
Lead high-level AI/ML decisions that resonate across the organisation, ensuring alignment with On’s overarching strategy.
Leverage your combined Data Science, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering expertise to amplify our strategic goals and drive impactful outcomes.
Visionary Communication:
Articulate a compelling vision for the future of AI/ML at On, engaging team members and other business functions..
Inspire and mobilise others with your passion and dedication to this vision.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous technical advancement, championing direct feedback and insights.
Elevate the technical bar and drive continuous evolution through innovative solutions.
Innovation and Research:
Oversee AI/ML R&D processes to align with our AI strategy.
Stay ahead of advancements in GenerativeAI and automation, researching, developing, and testing models to find the best solutions for different functions at On.
Expert Analysis and Advisory:
Analyse and explain AI/ML solutions while upholding high ethical standards.
Advise executives and business leaders on technology, strategy, and policy issues related to AI/ML.

– With over 10 years of experience, you have mastered building and optimising high-performance, scalable systems, including advanced frameworks and methodologies, such as multi-arm bandits, reinforcement learning, and other cutting-edge AI techniques
– You have successfully led cross-functional projects, demonstrating your ability to deliver while balancing multiple priorities.
– Your expertise spans multiple programming languages and frameworks, showcasing the depth and breadth of your coding skills.
– You possess a deep understanding of evolutionary software architecture, ensuring scalability and adaptability in your designs.
– Your background uniquely positions you to bridge the gap between data science, machine learning, and software engineering.
– You adopt top-tier engineering practices and stay attuned to industry innovations and shifts.
– Fluent in English, your clear articulation bridges teams worldwide, ensuring collaborative synergy.
