Job description:

As SeniorProcess Engineer you are providing the formulation engineering capability for a portfolio of development and manufacturing support projects and delivers the robust scale-up of formulation manufacturing processes from laboratory through to full-scale manufacture.

Leads technology transfer teams for inter-regional transfer or re-siting of products and is the technical lead in product establishment teams, and a member of the technical start-up team for new processes and equipment at Syngenta manufacturing sites or tollersRecognized as having specialist technical expertise in formulation engineering processingDesigns pilot plant trials and full-scale manufacturing trials - writes operating procedures, trains operating team, provides technical supervision, documents the outcomes and identifies next stepsGenerates the process design for Crop Protection capital projectsSupports the scale-up of formulation processes from lab to full-scale manufacturingApplies formulation engineering processing expertise in order to identify solutions that improve capacity, quality, and cost efficiency at manufacturing sites and is a member of the project teams that implement these solutions

Required profile:

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry or equivalent professional qualification and/or relevant experience.Many years of relevant experience gained in process development, manufacturing support in chemical engineering or a closely related subject.Knowledge of practical engineering -and maintenance activitiesStrong and clear communicatorStrong networker, able to build and foster trusting and productive relationsCreates an environment that supports creativity, transparency, and challenge and coaches people to spark innovationFluent in English, ideally strong German any other language are an asset
