Key Account Manager / Key Account Managerin (KAM) Geflügel Schweiz 50% (m/f/d)

Der Key Account Manager / die Key Account Managerin (KAM) Geflügel Schweiz spielt eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Unterstützung und Bindung strategisch wichtiger Kunden und Stakeholder in der Geflügelbranche. Der / Die KAM berichtet an die Geschäftseinheitsleiterin Nutztiere in der Schweiz und pflegt langfristige, partnerschaftliche Beziehungen zu Geflügelkunden. Fliessendes Deutsch und Französisch sind erforderlich, Englischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

Der / die KAM Geflügel Schweiz ist befugt:

  • Strategische und ertragsstarke Kunden und Stakeholder in der Geflügelbranche zu unterstützen und zu betreuen

  • Hochwertige pharmazeutische Produkte und Impfstoffe für Geflügel eigenständig über direkten Kundenkontakt und digitale Kommunikationskanäle zu beraten und zu verkaufen

  • Verantwortung für den Vertrieb des Geflügelsortiments zu übernehmen

  • Kundenbedürfnisse zu analysieren, um kundenspezifische Aktionspläne in Zusammenarbeit mit landwirtschaftlichen, veterinärmedizinischen und marketingbezogenen Experten zu entwickeln

  • Aktivitäten mit Key Accounts zu koordinieren und Strategien zur Erreichung von Verkaufszielen zu entwickeln

  • Kundenbezogene Pläne zu implementieren, zu überprüfen und kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln

  • Eng mit dem Verkaufsteam, dem technischen Aussendienst und dem erweiterten Tiergesundheitsteam in der Schweiz zusammenzuarbeiten

  • Ergebnisse und Aktivitäten nach Unternehmensstandards an Kunden zu kommunizieren

  • Tägliche operative Aktivitäten von Kunden zu verwalten und nationale/internationale Geschäftspolitiken einzuhalten

  • Verkaufsdaten intern und extern für Kunden zu überwachen und zu analysieren

  • Mit dem D-A-CH Team zusammenzuarbeiten

  • Proaktiv mit verschiedenen Funktionen und Abteilungen zusammenzuarbeiten

  • Globale oder regionale Marketingmaterialien an lokale Vorschriften und Marketingregeln anzupassen und zu aktualisieren

  • Das Unternehmen auf Konferenzen und Branchenveranstaltungen zu vertreten

  • Kunden-Trainingsveranstaltungen und -events zu organisieren, durchzuführen und nachzubereiten

  • Beste Praktiken auf lokaler und globaler Ebene zu teilen

Erforderliche Qualifikationen, Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen:

  • Abgeschlossene landwirtschaftliche oder naturwissenschaftliche Ausbildung mindestens auf HF-Niveau oder Tierärzte oder leitende tierärztliche Assistenten mit Schwerpunkt Geflügelhaltung

  • Vorzugsweise mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Geflügelbranche, tierärztlicher Praxis, der Pharmaindustrie und/oder im Vertrieb, idealerweise im Umgang mit grossen Kunden

  • Kenntnisse im Key Account Management und der lokalen Geflügelbranche, idealerweise mit einem bestehenden Netzwerk von wichtigen Akteuren

  • Starke Verkaufs- und Umsetzungsfähigkeiten

  • Wunsch, langfristige, partnerschaftliche und vertrauensvolle Beziehungen zu unseren veterinärmedizinischen Kunden im Aussendienst aufzubauen und damit positive Verkaufsentwicklungen zu erzielen

  • Analytische Fähigkeiten und Affinität zu Systemen und Zahlen sind von Vorteil

  • Starke Präsentations-, Kommunikations- und Verhandlungsfähigkeiten. Hervorragender im Zuhören und geschickter Einsatz der richtigen Fragetechniken. Kommunikation auf Augenhöhe mit Kunden

  • Bereitschaft, etwa 75% der Zeit zu reisen (Feldfunktion)

  • Gute Kenntnisse in MS Office und digitalen Medien

  • Fliessend in Deutsch und Französisch, zusätzliche Englischkenntnisse bevorzugt

  • Gültiger PKW-Führerschein (Klasse B)

Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.

 

The Key Account Manager (KAM) Poultry Switzerland (m/f/d) will play a pivotal role in supporting and retaining strategically important customers and stakeholders in the poultry sector. Reporting to the Livestock Business Unit Director in Switzerland, the KAM will build long-term, partnership-based relationships with poultry customers. Fluency in German and French is required, and English proficiency is preferred.

 

The Key Account Manager (KAM) Poultry Switzerland (m/f/d)  is empowered to

  • Support and manage strategic and high-revenue customers and stakeholders in the poultry industry

  • Independently consult and sell high-quality pharmaceuticals and vaccines for poultry through direct customer contact and digital communication channels

  • Take sales responsibility for the poultry portfolio

  • Analyze customer needs to develop customer-specific action plans in collaboration with agricultural, veterinary, and marketing experts

  • Coordinate activities with key accounts and develop strategies to achieve sales targets

  • Implement, review, and continuously develop customer-specific plans

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, field technical services, and extended animal health team in Switzerland

  • Communicate results and activities to customers according to company standards

  • Manage day-to-day operational activities of customers, adhering to national/international business policies

  • Monitor and analyze sales data internally and externally for customers

  • Coordinate with the D-A-CH team

  • Collaborate proactively with various functions and departments

  • Adapt and update global or regional marketing materials to comply with local regulations and marketing rules

  • Represent the company at conferences and industry events

  • Organize, conduct, and follow up on customer training sessions and events

  • Share best practices at local and global levels

 

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Completed agricultural or natural science education at least at the HF level, or veterinarians or senior veterinary assistants with a focus on poultry farming

  • Preferably several years of experience in the poultry industry, veterinary practice, pharmaceutical industry, and/or sales, ideally in managing large customers.

  • Knowledge of Key Account Management and the local poultry industry, ideally with an existing network of key stakeholders

  • Strong sales and operational implementation skills

  • Desire to build long-term, partnership-based, and trusting relationships with our veterinary customers in field sales and thus achieve positive sales development

  • Analytical skills and an affinity for systems and numbers are advantageous

  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent listener and skillful user of the right questioning techniques. Communication with customers on an equal footing

  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time (field-based role)

  • Proficient in MS Office and digital media

  • Fluent in German and French, with additional fluency in English preferred

  • Valid car driver's license (Class B)
