Procurement Manager Indirect Services:We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager specializing in Indirect Services to join our team at our Lucerne, Switzerland office. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for indirect services such as professional services, marketing, IT, facilities management, and other non-production related services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement category and sourcing strategies for indirect services, aligning with company objectives and budgetary constraints.
- Identify potential suppliers for indirect services, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal value and service quality.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and issue resolution, to drive continuous improvement and maximize value for the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads and project managers, to understand their service requirements and provide strategic procurement support.
- Oversee the procurement of various indirect services, including professional services (e.g., consulting, legal, accounting), marketing services (e.g., advertising, branding, market research), IT services (e.g., software licenses, cloud services, IT support), and facilities management services (e.g., maintenance, security, cleaning).
- Monitor market trends, analyze supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and risk mitigation in indirect service procurement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards in procurement activities, including contract management and supplier diversity initiatives.
- Utilize procurement software and data analytics tools to track key performance metrics, generate reports, and inform decision-making..
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing procurement processes, driving innovation, and achieving organizational goals related to indirect services.
- Adhere to standardized ways of working and all procurement policies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or certification in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect services procurement.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supplier management principles, and contract negotiation strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to travel internationally 25% of the time.
- The position requires the individual to work at our Lucerne, Switzerland office.
