You, as a (Senior) Process Engineer in logistics is responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving processes and systems involved in the logistics operations of the organisation. The primary focus is on streamlining and enhancing efficiency in the movement and management of goods and materials throughout the supply chain.


You will analyze and evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse personnel, transportation managers, suppliers, and customers, to gather data, understand requirements, and implement process changes. This position offers a dynamic carrier path, with potential and exciting possibilities for growth and professional development 


Key responsibilities:

⢠Execution of the practical project work within a cGMP regulated environment. An implicit lead function in process execution can be assigned.

⢠Take over assigned projects (SAP/MES/Delta V/LIMS) within the Ibex area. The goal is to integrate logistics processes with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other technology platforms to ensure seamless operations and data flow.

⢠Author, review and Implementation of process related procedures (Standard operation procedures, Reports,â¦). The goal is to identify areas for improvement, optimize operations, and ensure a smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain.

⢠Reporting of non-conformances and initiation of quality issue records and low impact investigations as well as corrective actions under cGMP.

⢠Evaluate process performance and deviations while implementing a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics function by developing and implementing performance measurement systems, conducting regular audits, and driving lean methodologies.

⢠Propose new or improved technologies to enhance quality, cost efficiencies, personnel safety and regulatory compliance

⢠Collecting and analyzing data on key logistics metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. This may involve using statistical analysis tools and software.

⢠Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Site Distribution/Logistics, and Quality.


Key requirements:

Hard Skills:

⢠University or higher technical education qualification with several years of experience

⢠Experience within a cGMP environment (Change Controls, CAPAâs, Deviations,â¦) will be considered as an advantage

⢠Confident handling of MS-Office

⢠Experience with ERP Systems (SAP/MES)

⢠Ability to work according to tight and changing timelines

⢠Accurate working and documentation style

⢠Advanced English and German is a must
