For Skyguide to hit its strategic objectives, we must be able to implement complex changes faster, without sacrificing quality, safety or reliability. The Innovation Lab is about establishing an innovative platform to test new ideas. It is being created to allow our ATCOs to build and interact with prototype solutions, clarify and refine requirements, validate selected use cases, and prioritise the most promising ones for further development. In this way, it will improve the quality of implemented solutions, and shorten the development cycle.

Your responsibilities:

• Help drive the delivery of transformational and change initiatives by leading the operation of an innovation lab and define/evolve its working methods 
• Link with internal stakeholders to identify prototyping needs (use cases) with focus on Virtual Center (our main transformation program) but as well other future strategic developments plans
• Evaluate use cases/concepts and design approaches to prototype them 
• Create clear plans for prototyping or simulating use cases
• Establish and lead cross functional teams for approved use cases 
• Identify, establish, and manage the appropriate prototyping and simulation platforms according to use cases
• Responsible for achieving the outcomes/deliverables for each use case according to commitments
   

Your profile :

• University Master degree or comparable, specialization in technology or similar, experience in the aviation industry is a plus
• 5 years of experience in innovation, product development, or research and development initiatives with agile methods and frameworks
• Experience in leading cross functional teams or project management and strong skills to foster collaboration, drive innovation and work in the detail as well at a conceptual level
• Strategic thinking and ability to see and manage the big picture and to implement new ways of working
• Strong aptitude working with innovation, changing environment and iterative working practice 
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and cooperation skills, ability to manage stakeholders' expectations
• Able to work effectively as part of functional and cross-functional teams, be energetic, proactive and flexible
• Excellent knowledge of English, French and/or German is an asset
