We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager Generics - Portfolio (f/m/d) 100% for our Generics API portfolio who will be responsible for the ongoing support of existing and new international customers in their endeavor to develop accessible medicine. This is an excellent opportunity to gain or expand experience in sales and customer project management in the pharmaceutical industry, learn important aspects of generic drugs development, acquire or use negotiation skills and build relationships in the industry. 

In your work at Bachem you will be supported by experienced specialists from sales and various technical departments (production, analytics, quality, regulatory, project management). Modern ERP and CRM systems will be at your disposal.

Your tasks:

Develop in-depth product and industry knowledgeBe major point of contact for assigned customers in relation to product quality, regulatory filing, GMP production and analytical questions to optimize customer experience and quality of serviceCoordinate internal activities as subject matter expert in LCM projectsAccompany the entire sales cycle from quotation to deliveryConduct price and contract negotiationsDevelop the assigned sales territoriesOrganize and conduct visits to existing and prospect customersRepresent Bachem at international exhibitionsEnter and update CRM system recordsParticipate actively in internal financial forecasting, demand planning, product design and market strategy discussions

Your profile:

Degree in business or life sciencesExperience of 2-3 years in technical sales or project management (life sciences or pharmaceutical service industry is highly desirable)Strong planning and organization skills, business acumen, decision making and problem-solving skillsPositive and proactive attitudeProven selling, negotiation and presentation skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsFluent in English, German and any other additional language is a plusProficient with standard IT tools (MS Office) as well as ERP (SAP) and CRM (Salesforce) systemsWillingness to travel up to 20%
