Senior Operations Analyst – Hedge Funds Migration (Zurich, Switzerland)

Cognizant is expanding its team and seeking flexible, full-time Senior Operations Analysts in Wealth Management. This hybrid banking and financial services role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of cross-border merger strategies from old entity to new entity for a leading bank.
- Oversee and manage Investment Banking and Wealth Management products, focusing on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody Services, Hedge Funds, Investment Reporting, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Data Management.
- Liaise with transfer agents and counterparty banks to process Hedge Fund transfers.
- Prepare fund-specific documentation for transfers in cooperation with legal departments.
- Review fund restrictions to ensure client compliance with fund requirements.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for daily communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Administer securities settlement static data (SSI).
- Systematically chase outstanding information and overdue transactions.
- Investigate securities discrepancies and reconciliation breaks.
- Resolve complex client queries through internal and external escalations.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring high standards of performance and client satisfaction.
Skills and Experience:
- 3-6 years experience in Hedge Funds operations and migration processes.
- In-depth understanding of securities settlement and static data administration.
- Strong knowledge of fund restrictions and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage complex client queries and escalations.
- Basic German and fluent English proficiency.
