Senior Operations Analyst – Corporate Actions & Income Processing (Zurich, Switzerland)

Fixed term for 12 months or June 2025

Do you have extensive operations experience in Wealth Management and Corporate Actions? Are you looking for a new challenge in Zurich? Cognizant is expanding its team and seeking flexible, full-time Senior Operations Analysts in Wealth Management. This hybrid banking and financial services role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of cross-border merger strategies from old entity to new entity for a leading bank.

Manage and oversee Investment Banking and Wealth Management products, focusing on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody Services, Hedge Funds, Investment Reporting, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Data Management.

Ensure accurate event creation, processing, and booking of Corporate Actions.

Guarantee timely client notification, instructions handling, and cash and stock bookings.

Actively monitor and reconcile Corporate Actions events, addressing and resolving any related issues.

Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting best practices and high performance.

Skills and Experience:

Min- 3-6 years experience in Corporate Actions event processing and reconciliation.

In-depth understanding of securities markets and corporate reorganizations (e.g., mergers).

Expertise in SWIFT messaging, particularly MT56x Corporate Actions.

Strong F2B knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with processing knowledge of confirmations and settlements.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

fluent English proficiency.
