They are looking for a Data Business Development Manager to validate, monetize, and commercialize new data products (, line-ups, quality and pricing data). You will test market needs, define pricing and packaging, shape go-to-market, and close initial deals .DescriptionWhat You'll Do 1) Product ValidationEngage with clients, shareholders, and industry experts to validate use cases, features, and pricing assumptionsBenchmark competitors and substitutes in the agri-data spaceCollaborate with product & tech teams to ensure data quality and usabilityRun early-adopter feedback loops to iterate quickly2) Monetization StrategyDesign pricing & packaging by segment and value metric (, seats, usage, API calls)Define GTM plans for datasets covering line-ups, flows, quality, and pricingEvaluate revenue models (subscriptions, licensing, enterprise, API)3) Commercial Execution & PartnershipsBuild pipeline across traders, brokers, agents, surveyors, shipowners, banks, and data aggregatorsNegotiate contracts and licensing agreements that protect IP and data integrityRepresent the company at industry events and commercial forums Expected Outcomes (first 6 months)Validated product hypotheses and pricing models3-5 pilot customers and an actionable pipelinePricingRoadmap to scale the data business Profile5+ years in data strategy & monetization, ideally in commodities, logistics, or pricing dataExperience validating and launching data productsStrong understanding of commodities trading & logistics workflowsSaaS or API-based sales experience is a plusCommercially driven, structured, and creativeFluent in English; remote-ready Job OfferHiring ProcessStage 1: 1-hour interviewAssessment: Business Case to be presented on the day jida8a383eafr jit1146afr jpiy25afr
