With sales of USD 1.7 billion in FY 2022, Landis+Gyr employs around 7,800 talented people across five continents.Job Summary:As Senior Project Engineer Smart Metering Systems in Business Unit Switzerland, you will lead, support, and execute the integration of Landis+Gyr's AMM smart metering solutions into customer environments or Landis+Gyr Cloud SaaS/MaaS solutions. You will establish integration concepts, specifications, and documentation of interfaces, customize software and interface components, set up sample use cases, and verify functions with test cases. You will also prepare and run acceptance tests at customer sites.Key Responsibilities:Offering & BID Phase:Support and consult sales on software and E2E solution-related questionsEstimate effort and describe scope for potential smaller projects and service requestsReview technical acceptance requirements and define feasible technical acceptance casesProject Implementation Phase:Provide technical expertise for clarification of software and E2E solution-related functionalityContribute to the specification phase to define scope and implementation according to customer-specific requirementsInteract with Service Delivery teams to perform software base installations, updates, and patchesSet up and customize E2E solutions with a focus on software applicationsEnsure timely and quality integration of all necessary interfacesTroubleshoot system and interface issues, reporting through Service NOW toolDefine test plans and create test case descriptionsPerform system tests according to the test plan for SAT approvalSupport customer in execution of E2E use casesReport findings from implementation/pilots to the project teamDevelop project-related technical descriptionsConduct on-site project-related handover training and contribute to the handover of the solution to the customer and L1 supportOperation, Maintenance, & Support Phase:Troubleshoot system and interface issues.Develop, specify, and document integration concepts for change requestsEnsure the implementation of services in the after-sales phaseInstall and commission necessary software updates, managing system and interface modificationsSupport 1st/2nd level in solving customer/operator requestsYour Profile:Extensive experience in metering, measurement, IT, telecommunication, or energyProficient in IT design and programming (SQL/Oracle DB)Experience in project implementation and integrating systemsLeadership experience in a project environmentBachelor’s/Master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications, energy sector, or information technologyFluent in German and English, additional customer language is a plusStrong analytical, systematic skills and understanding of smart metering use casesKnowledge of communication technologies (PLC, 2G/3G/LTE, NBIoT Wireless, etc.) and interface & integration know-howProficient in Windows (Unix) OS Administration and Oracle Database AdministrationWe Offer:An open, technologically broad and innovative environmentModern state-of-the-art tools and processesAn international, successful company with a focus on sustainability and future prospectsThe opportunity to shape the future of Landis+Gyr’s smart metering portfolio  #LI-SG1 #LI-Hybrid
