On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated CAE Engineer (m/w/d) to join a dynamic engineering team. The CAE Engineer (m/w/d) will be responsible for utilizing advanced simulation techniques and software to support product development, optimize design processes, and enhance the performance and reliability of products. This role demands a deep understanding of engineering principles, computational methods, and practical application of CAE tools. Your profile:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or Materials Science or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Work experience (3+ years) in CAE (Computer Aided Design)
- Proficiency with CAE software tools
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, material science, and mechanics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering concepts to real-world scenarios.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to product design and testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the chemical, materials, plastics or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to support product development and optimization.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate CAE insights into the product development cycle.
- Develop and validate CAE models to predict the performance, durability, and reliability of materials and products.
- Analyze simulation results, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations to improve design and manufacturing processes.
- Stay current with the latest developments in CAE technology and methodologies, and implement best practices to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency.
- Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of product failures through detailed simulation studies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
- Document and present findings, methodologies, and recommendations to stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and senior management.
