About The RoleThe DevOps Engineer is responsible to ensure that Genedata’s worldwide IT infrastructure is properly configured and meets all security standards.Your ResponsibilitiesMaintain the RedHat Satellite and Ansible infrastructureParticipating in planning, implementing, and maintaining our Linux IT infrastructurePerforming software maintenance and automated Linux installation in a virtualized environmentFollowing internal SOP and documentation of implementationManaging server hardware incl. firmware updatesAssisting in other fields including Linux-Windows connectivity, firewalls, and backup systemsSupporting end usersSkills & ExperienceUniversity degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with a min. of 3 years related business experienceIn-depth Linux client and server knowledge (RedHat)Knowledge of Apache, SSL, SSSD, SSHD, Samba, DNS, DHCP, Postfix and NFSScripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python)Solid understanding of TCP/IP network configuration and troubleshootingExperiences with one or multiple of the following is a plus
