To strengthen our Information Technology division we are currently looking for a

Network & Telecom Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

In collaboration with the Head of Network & Telecom, your principal duties are to:

  • Ensure the implementation, proper functioning, maintenance and support of the network, telephony and videoconferencing systems.
  • Implement, support, maintain and monitor firewall infrastructure.
  • Handle daily events and problems which may occur in the network, telecoms and security and provide first and second level support.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience and excellent skills with: 
  1. Cisco data centre network infrastructure and Cisco Wireless 
  2. Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration
  3. Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN and Intrusion Protection Systems
  4. Load balancer BIG IP (LTM, APM and AWAF)
  5. Web security proxy and content filtering
  • Recognized Network/Security/Telecom certifications are an asset.
  • Eager and ready to learn new technologies.
  • Flexible, polyvalent, with ability to deal with variable workload.
  • Team player and ability to work with autonomy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Available to work occasionally outside normal business hours.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
