Position:
On the Operations platform, this Client Documentation team for Legal Entities is covering a wide range of topics related to regulatory, AML, client onboarding and legal data. As part of a busy, close-knit team, as Client Onboarding Officer - Legal Entities, you are responsible for reviewing and processing client documentation and client data, ensuring data completeness and correctness throughout the life-cycle of the clients in the Bank and provide excellent service to all units of the Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and processing all account openings of Legal Entities, ensuring smooth operational activity for the clients
- Supporting and interacting closely with the Relationship Managers, enabling them to further develop their business
- Managing physical and electronic static data throughout the life-cycle of a client
- Verifying clients' signature on documents and instructions
- Developing deep understanding of the Bank's processes, products and services
Profile:
- Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent
- 2 years of practical experience in the field of reviewing complex structures from CDB perspective
- Banking industry specific knowledge a must
- Sound knowledge in relevant regulatory requirements such as AML, FATCA/QI and CRS
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as ability to weigh problems and set priorities
- Hands-on mentality excellent interpersonal skills with "can do" attitude
- A flexible, agile mindset who is a team player but can also take initiative
- Used to a busy workload and having the ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in English (working language)
- Happy to be based out of Basel for an office-based role and in possession of the relevant Swiss work visa, where applicable
