Das Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich befindet sich im Herzen der Altstadt, im Hauptgeschäftszentrum, in der Nähe der Freizeitattraktionen der Stadt und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Ufer des Zürichsees entfernt. Das Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich verfügt über 80 Gästezimmer und Suiten sowie drei gastronomische Einrichtungen, darunter ein ganztägig geöffnetes Restaurant, ein Spezialitätenrestaurant und eine Lobby Lounge. Das Hotel ist mit seinen neu renovierten Veranstaltungseinrichtungen, einschließlich eines großen historischen Ballsaals, ideal für Meetings und Veranstaltungen geeignet.

Als Nachtkoch werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende Aufgaben sein:

Die Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Ablaufes des Nachtbetriebs in der Küche Sämtliche Speisen für Gäste während der Nacht zubereiten Vor- und Zubereitung für das Tagesgeschäft Vorbereitung arbeiten des täglichen Frühstücksbuffets Sicherstellung einer einwandfreien Zubereitung, Qualität und ansprechenden Präsentation unserer Speisen entsprechend unserem hohen Qualitätsanspruch Kontrolle der Lagerräume und Warenbestände Verantwortlich für die tägliche Kontrolle der Hygienevorschriften und Sauberkeit nach HACCP-Richtlinien

Als Nacht Koch erwarten wir von Ihnen:

Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Koch/Köchin. 2-3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer ähnlichen Funktion - vorzugsweise in der gehobenen Hotellerie/Cateringbranche Flexibilität und Belastbarkeit - Ihre Position wird Wochenend- und Feiertagsschichten beinhalten Auge fürs Detail und Kreativität - um Ihre kulinarische Handschrift auf den Tisch zu bringen Ausgezeichnete Fähigkeiten in den Bereichen Kommunikation, Teamarbeit und Organisation Ausgeprägte Führungsqualitäten - Sie können Ihre eigene Station leiten Hohes Maß an Engagement sowie eine strukturierte, ergebnisorientierte und selbständige Arbeitsweise Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the old town, within the main business centre, close to the city’s leisure attractions and a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. Set to open end of 2023, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich will feature 80 guestrooms and suites and three dining outlets, comprising an all-day dining venue, a speciality restaurant, and a lobby lounge. The property is ideally placed for meetings and gatherings, and the renovation will enhance conference and event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

As our Night Chef you will be responsible for the following duties :

Ensuring the smooth running of night operations in the kitchen Preparing all meals for guests during the night Mis en Place for the daily business Preparing the daily breakfast buffet Ensuring the flawless preparation, quality and appealing presentation of our food in line with our high quality standards Checking the storerooms and stock levels Responsible for the daily control of hygiene regulations and cleanliness according to HACCP guidelines

As our Night Chef we expect from you to have:

Completed training as a chef. 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role - preferably in the upscale hotel/catering industry Flexibility and ability to work under pressure - your position will include weekend and holiday shifts Eye for detail and creativity - to bring your culinary signature to the table Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills Strong leadership skills - you can manage your own station High level of commitment as well as a structured, results-oriented and independent way of working High quality awareness Good knowledge of German and English
