Laboratory Technician Surface Treatment

Perform analysis on mineral and mineral-containing products using a variety of analytical techniques and application methods (e. g. particle size analysis, mechanical properties, rheometers, spectroscopy, etc)Conduct guided non-routine experiments for product and process technology development contributing to industry-focused product development and future research and development goalsPerform maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of instruments used to perform the testsAdapt industry (e.g. polymer, construction, paper, etc) processing equipment and/or conditions to meet the specific experimental objectiveDemonstrate and develop expertise in sample preparation and processing equipment such as high speed mixers, extruders, presses, etcRecord test results and observations in computer based data retention system Maintain responsibility for sample management, data entry and reporting​apprenticeship as L​aboratory Technician
Experience working in a labGood technical skills and willingness to use them in a laboratory environmentExcellent computer and sorftware skills in Word and ExcelGood command of both German and EnglishProactive, target-oriented and willing to work on multidisciplinary projectsExcellent team spiritWork in an ISO-certified environment ​
