TalenTailors is seeking an experienced and talented Lead Developer with expertise in Java EE to join our customer's team. As a Lead Developer Java EE, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing enterprise-level applications using Java EE technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Lead Developer/Software Engineer Java EE, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative Scrum team consisting of 5 to 7 members.
  • Your role will involve taking charge of the technical aspects in JEE projects and ensuring the successful design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Additionally, you will have the exciting task of creating and implementing the Continuous Integration development environment.

Requirements

  • You should have a degree in computer science from ETH/UNI/FH.
  • Additionally, we require at least 5 years of professional experience as a Lead Developer in the conception, design, and implementation of JEE-based solutions.
  • It is important to have several years of experience in applying best practices in software development (Agile, DDD, TDD, etc.) as well as solid knowledge in Java 8+, Maven, Git, JMS, RESTful Web services, JPA, and Hibernate for this role.
  • You should also have a thorough understanding of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and the tools required for it, along with proficiency in Linux and Shell Scripting.
  • Practical experience with Oracle or Db2 databases is also required. Experience in Kubernetes and containerization, as well as familiarity with application servers like JBoss/Websphere Liberty, would be a plus.
  • In addition to impeccable German and English skills, fluency in French or Italian would be a bonus.
