Responsibilities and Objectives

As the CCO of CREATEQ AG and member of the group executive board, your primary focus is to drive market expansion, customer acquisition, revenue generation and profitability. This role is critical in developing and executing strategies that align with our business goals and maximize our commercial success, together with the CEO and COO.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve revenue growth targets, market share growth, and profitability. Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.

2. Sales and Business Development: Lead the sales and business development activities to drive revenue generation through effective sales strategies, customer acquisition, and account management. Grow business in exiting clients and identify and win new clients. Establish sales targets, performance metrics, and KPIs to track and measure performance.

3. Market Expansion and Partnerships: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion through new customer segments, geographies, and verticals in close collaboration with the CEO. Build and nurture strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel relationships to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.

4. Product and Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with CEO, COO and Delivery Centers to align product offerings with market demand, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Develop pricing strategies and packaging strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.

5. Strategic Engagement and Leadership: Continuous engagement with key decision-makers and experts among our clients and industry leaders. Introduction of strategic and innovative ideas. Active support in developing a learning organization and establishing new areas of expertise. Collaborate with the CEO on strategic development activities, such as market evaluations and investments.

6. Customer Engagement and Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement, relationship management, and customer success initiatives. Collaborate with delivery teams, customer support and success teams to address customer feedback, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

7. Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and the executive team for strategic development and operational excellence.

8. Travel and Presence: Regular business travel to clients to ensure a close and trusted relationship and identify new business opportunities aligned to CREATEQ's strategy.

 

Requirements

To excel in this role as CCO, you should possess the following qualifications andskills:

Proven Leadership: Proven experience in a senior leadership role in sales, business development, or commercial operations within the software or technology industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving targets.

Business Management: Strong practical focus and a "can do" attitude. Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.

Interpersonal Skills: Possess an outgoing personality, experienced in communicating with IT leaders and Software Delivery Heads, capable of building trust quickly and establish long lasting business relationships.

Communication: Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English. Personality with an eye for essentials, high social competence, and expressiveness in an international environment.

Industry Knowledge: A well-developed understanding of the ICT/ Software/ Consulting market in DACH (and globally). Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to inform decision-making.

International Outlook: Have an international mindset and strong cross-cultural management competencies. Be willing to travel and visit clients and customer events.

Education: MBA in business management or related field. 15+ years of experience in sales, business development and commercial management activities.

 

This role reports directly to the CEO.
