Your new tasks
As a Senior Digital Ink Formulation Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of strategic projects:
- Formulate UV inks for inkjet and other proprietary AM technologies
- Design, perform and analyze printing experiments
- Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations
- Develop and implement characterization methods
- Prepare work plans and status reports
- Collaborate with other technology groups (e.g. physicists)
- Share findings with relevant stakeholders (e.g. process engineers)
- Manage laboratory infrastructure, material suppliers and equipment
What you bring
- Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in R&D of digital ink formulations
- Proficient in UV polymerization chemistry
- Demonstrated strong knowledge in UV curing processes and formulations
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of inkjet printing processes
- Solid technical background with hands-on, lab work experience
- Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
- Demonstrate strong Math and Science skills
- Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary environment with various interfaces inside and outside the company
- Ideally history of developing products until commercialization
- Ideally familiar with the optics or ophthalmic industry
- Fluent in spoken and written English
