Program Manager II, Pricing

At Expedia Group, our mission is to revolutionize travel through the power of technology. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager for Pricing to join our dynamic team.

The Pricing Programs team mission is to drive the execution of the Expedia Group pricing strategy in close collaboration with Product, Data Science, Operations and Tech leads.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our pricing strategy, ensuring competitiveness and profitability in a rapidly evolving travel landscape. This position demands strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, strong interest for data and technology, and a deep understanding of pricing dynamics in the travel tech sector.

What you'll do:

  • Develop project schedule, defines timeframe, and prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives

  • Assist subject matter experts in defining requirements as needed

  • Track project schedule, and share weekly updates with leadership and stakeholders in the relevant forums

  • Create and maintain program documentation and lead recurring meetings as needed

  • Proactively manage risk, working with the team to anticipate new risks and lead mitigation planning

  • Coordinate bringing together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop solutions to issues, and contribute own suggestions

  • Think holistically to identify opportunities around policies/ processes to increase efficiency across organizational boundaries

  • Consider and understand the audience's specific needs and comprehension level to determine the most appropriate message and delivery method, limiting or explaining technical language

Who you are:

Background

  • Bachelor or Master degree in one of the related fields: Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in an project or program management role, preferably in ecommerce or in a technology company
  • Successful track of experience in managing projects cross functionally including technology functions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural positive and can-do attitude
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a track record of driving results.

Technical knowledge

  • Advanced skills in SQL, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus
  • Previous exposure to project management tools (such Jira, Confluence, Miro) and methodologies (Agile)
