Major Account Manager Service Providers – Switzerland

The Major Account Manager Service Providers’ will build and promote the Fortinet’s position as the worldwide leader in Unified Threat Management as a service, specifically through our Advanced & Expert MSSP partner community as well as selected carriers. Must be a key contributor to the revenue growth of the region, and manage to the company growth targets. Accountable for managing Service Provider partnerships as well as two Carriers within the guidelines of Fortinet’s channel programs, spearheading new business development in multi- and single-tenant service provider models and successfully expand our reach in these selected carrier accounts. Will motivate, educate and train the partners in the Company’s products and technologies. Expand sales with by building business plans including MDF strategy, account penetration strategy and profitability targets.

Responsibilities:

Develop selected service provider partners as part of the service provider team in Switzerland Develop relationship with the major players in the market including Fortinet’s distribution Build revenue and non-revenue business plans  Provide ongoing sales and technical trainings to these partners Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds Act as key channel strategist to further grow our service provider market within region Partner with Fortinet marketing and engineering teams to drive revenue growth within region Provide geographic channel coverage for the region, meaning travelling four days within Switzerland to meet channel partners & distribution Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets in a sell to (carrier) as well as sell through (service provider) motion

Required Skills 

IT apprenticeship or bachelor equivalent, preferred with an IT security background You are already several years in a similar role and have a deep understanding of carrier business and products Outgoing personality, interested to work with many different roles within the partner eco system, from admin to technical up to C-level contacts Experience in delivering sales trainings, and experience in working in a fast pace environment with revenue responsibilities is preferred Good presentation skills to service providers, business owners & individual contributors Excellent written and verbal communication skills Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality

Language: French or German & English at professional level
