Statutory and Tax Reporting Manager

Lonza’s Capsules & Health Ingredients business is the trusted partner for innovative products, including capsules and health ingredients, customization services and end-to-end dosage form solutions for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies.
We are currently looking for a Statutory and Tax Reporting Manager who will provide support to the Head of BSO Finance, primarily on the preparation of the statutory accounts, local legal requirements and tax compliance for Lonza entities primarily in France, but also across other entities in EMEA.
Position could be based in the UK, France or Switzerland. This is a hybrid role which requires onsite presence 3 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
Tax Compliance. Responsible for tax compliance (with support from an external provider) and implementing and maintaining tax / transfer pricing strategy locally under guidance from the group tax team.
Statutory accounting and compliance (with support from an external provider), including IFRS to local GAAP reconciliations.
Business Case support. Assist with corporate projects (eg CIR / grants / simplification / pension matters / dividend repatriation)
Perform other duties as assigned. Includes but not limited to: cash flow forecasting, banking approvals, internal controls execution.
Liaison with external providers, including external auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
Key requirements:
Graduate or equivalent professional qualification.
Preferred area of study: Business Studies / Accountancy
Minimum 5 years accounting with some tax experience (preferably related to France)
Fully Qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent tax qualification.
Financial accounting including IFRS / SAP / HFM, tax accounting, knowledge of European (ideally French) tax legislation.
Business level French and English language is a must.
Experience with SAP and HFM preferable.
Self-motivated, innovative and open to learning other functions and participating in projects.
