About the team you are joining
Part of the Information and Data (I&D) Division, Data Governanceteam works to define and implement state-of-the-art data practices within ourorganization to make data and analytics more accessible, trustworthy, andactionable. Our goal is to maximizes theinvestment in data and analytics initiatives by promoting the proper use ofanalytics in business processes, ensuring accurate insights based on qualitydata, reducing risks with security, and guiding the prioritization of projectsso the right information is available at the right time.
What your day would be like
The responsibilities of the Intern, Statistical Analysis will be:
- Support design, build, test and maintain statistical analytic models, including data pipeline, algorithms and visualization;
- Profile data, support the implementation and running of data quality control processes and propose controls to continuously improve data quality;
- Assist with data collection and propose automated solutions when applicable;
- Assist business with the development of Power BI dashboards;
- Support developing of statistic metrics and methodology to correctly interpret trends and presents patterns in the data to produce meaningful insights;
- Support ad hoc requests for analysis or supply of data.
We would love to hear from you if
- Hold a recent Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, operational research or relevant discipline;
- Knowledge in Statistics, big data analytics, database management and data visualization;
- SQL knowledge as well as familiarity with BI technologies ( Microsoft Power BI);
- Good knowledge in Python/R programming;
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English.
