The Campus Lead EHS Value Chain is responsible for implementing the global EHS value chain strategy at the campus to drive best in class performance in Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability (EHS) in the manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and R&D centers. This position is responsible for delivering KPI's for both leading and lagging indicators that ensure the Company's ongoing success in these areas. This position will oversee the implementation of standards and engaging with the business to provide scalable and effective EHS strategies that support current and future business objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable country, state and local laws.This position represents EHS as a member of the campus Value Chain Leadership Team and provides thought leadership to the organization in the area of environmental and safety ensuring the advancement of EHS programsThe campus lead EHS Value Chain leads a team of experienced SME's and manages all regulatory (federal, regional, local) and company requirements related to environmental and safety and the maintenance of the sites' good standing with regulatory bodies for the state/country. The position directs interactions with regulators for the state/country related to environmental and safety programs covering >100 safety and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications:
* Advanced knowledge in the area of environmental and safety acquired through education and training as well as through experience, preferably multiple years of experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment
* Professional business fluency both in English and German.
* Ability to understand and communicate technical environmental and safety requirements and to lead and execute strategies within a multi-disciplinary team to meet requirements.
* Experience in managing a multi-location operational organization is a plus
* Ability to work well in a dynamic and complex environment.
* Ability to coach and develop others with demonstrated strong leadership abilities.
* Ability to think critically to challenge status quo and come up with innovative solutions.
* Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to build collaborative partnerships.
* Effective influencing and listening skills, as well as flexibility, a strong worth ethic and strategic thinking are valued assets.
* Must be able to handle a heavy workload with competing priorities.
