Job Description
As a Legal Officer, you will be part of the Legal Department. Your responsibilities will include:
Project analysis : Advise internal stakeholders on the legal aspects of the Bank’s projects, including innovative banking services and implementation of novel technologies, providing insights and risk assessments Banking and corporate matters : Analyze banking and corporate legal issues, ensuring alignment with regulations Contract drafting and negotiation : Draft and negotiate agreements with clients and partners Legal disputes and litigation : Handle legal disputes and litigation matters, including addressing client claims, managing outside counsel and representing the Bank in court proceedings Top Management Support : Offer legal guidance and contribute to reports to the Executive Management and Board of Directors
Qualifications
Education : Swiss law degree (membership to a bar and/or any additional qualification such as an or a CAS are considered as an asset) Experience : Demonstrated expertise in corporate and banking law, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry or related fields ( reputable law firm or consulting company with a focus on financial services matters). Languages : Perfect command of English and French, working knowledge of German (perfect command of German being an asset) Skills Affinity with innovation and blockchain technology; understanding of related legislationProficiency in assessing legal risks with a keen understanding of business implicationsStrong written and communication skills across functions and stakeholdersAdept at collaborative teamwork while maintaining autonomy-
