January/February: Housekeeper

A family of three living in Geneva Old Town is looking for a Housekeeper for 20 hours a week with the possibility of increasing the hours gradually. Both parents work full-time and currently, they have a nanny for their daughter aged 7.

The ideal candidate has experience working in private homes and cooking skills.

Start date: January or February 2025

Schedule: From 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Candidate language required: Fluent English. Italian is a plus.

Main tasks:

  • Household chores including laundry and ironing
  • Prepare dinner. The famliy loves Italian food. The family also likes to cook.
  • Pick up the daughter from the school when the nanny is not available.
  • Travel on weekends to Italy.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland, Swiss/EU Passport or Swiss permit.
  • Written letters of recommendation that we can validate.
  • Previous experience in the same role working in private homes.
  • Cooking skills. The family has a preference for the Italian cuisine.
  • Proficiency in English is required. Italian is a plus.
  • Manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Pet-friendly. The family has a Labrador.
