We are looking for a :

Senior Accountant100%

Yourresponsibilities:

  • Perform dayto day accounting transactions activities (Bank, AP, GL etc) bymeeting closingdeadlines

  • Play an activerole in the month, quarter and year-endclose

  • Book supplier invoices& payroll entries using the accurate costcenters

  • Travel expensesverification, processing, accounting for and paymentmanagement

  • Manage paymentrun (preparation, documentation,payments)

  • Ensure theaccuracy of the accounts payable & bankaccounts

  • Perform accountspayable and general ledgerreconciliations

  • Manage andbook all payroll entries and perform monthly and YTDreconciliations with GL and Payroll providerinformation.

  • Ensurecompliance with internal controlsystem

  • Ensure timely andcompliant VAT submissions (CH &EUROPEAN)

  • Ensure timely andcompliant taxsubmissions

  • Play an activerole duringAudit

  • Participate in ad hocprojects for the accountingdepartment

Functie-eisen

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in financeand accounting or equivalent accountingqualification

  • At least 8-10years of accounting experience in a similarposition

  • Knowledge offinance and accounting principles, US GAAP knowledgerequired

  • Self-motivated,operates with a sense of urgency and demonstrates high learningagility

  • Attention to detail,ability to keep deadlines and setpriorities.

  • Ability to workindependently and in an Internationalenvironment

  • Flexibility andwillingness to take on newchallenges

  • Ability tolisten, to communicate efficiently with all levels of theorganization

  • Good computerskills in Microsoft Office suite and aptitude for accountingsoftware, knowledge of SAP andHyperion

  • Experience inworking in a fast growing and changing environment is a plus,Software industry experience is aplus

  • Fluent in English andFrench
