THE ROLE

From 1 September 2024 | Full-time permanent role | Suisse Romande or French Frontalier

The Sales Lead - Suisse Romande is responsible for driving brand growth & impactful account management for FSSC brands Faction, United Shapes, and Phaenom in the French speaking part of Switzerland. Leveraging the brand strengths, they will craft and lead strategies to develop distribution and build lasting partner relationships in their territory.

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the growth and success of FSSC brands in the Swiss market and make a significant impact on the outdoor industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and increase market share in the Western part of Switzerland
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential distribution partners
  • Work closely with the Europe Sales Manager to develop budgets, forecasts, and sales targets
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to optimize sales strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and retail partners
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and trainings with accounts to ensure brand knowledge and increase sell-through

2. Account Management

  • Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Implement merchandising and shelving plans to maximize product visibility at retail stores
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute in-store promotional activities and marketing campaigns
  • Monitor inventory levels and create sales forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels at accounts
  • Handle order processing, logistics coordination, and issue resolution for accounts

3. Market and Product Knowledge

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
  • Develop a deep understanding of FSSC brands and their products, and effectively communicate their value propositions
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and product trainings to expand knowledge and network within the outdoor industry

4. Reporting and Analysis

  • Compile and analyze sales data, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to management
  • Track and report on progress towards sales targets and KPIs
  • Review and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and account management in Switzerland within the sporting goods industry, preferably in the winter outdoor sector
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
  • Fluency in French and English mandatory. German is a plus
  • Ability to travel within Switzerland
