Glencore’s McArthur River Mine is looking for a motivated, experienced and skilled Superintendent to run our Environmental department. As a leading producer of zinc and located in the Gulf region, we’re a proud Territory operation with a long future. The safety of our people is our number one priority. What We’re Looking For:

• Degree Qualified (Environmental related)
• Extensive Environmental and Mining or heavy industry experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Legislation
• Proven experience developing and supervising large teams.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of environmental monitoring impacts in a mining and minerals processing setting.
• Provide technical support to the Management team regarding environmental issues.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation plan for the mine.
• Develop and maintain budget
• Develop and communicate environmental performance with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
