Dufour Aerospace develops efficient and sustainable aircraft for cargo transportation, logistics, and public safety. We use distributed electric propulsion and hybrid modules to meet the demands of today’s Advanced Air Mobility and medium-sized drone market.

We’re looking for a passionate Web Developer to join our team and assist with building web tools that support our aircraft management systems.

Tasks
  • Work with engineering & flight operations to create an intuitive web interface for our aircraft management & control system.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to the evolution of our web tools.
  • Facilitate a rapid prototyping approach, evolving requirements through real-world exposure.
  • Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate concepts, in order to gather relevant feedback from stakeholders.
  • Learn and apply UI/UX principles to ensure the interface is intuitive, visually appealing, and easy to navigate for users.
  • Support the development of RESTful APIs and contribute to back-end tasks when necessary.
  • Participate in code reviews, attend team meetings, and contribute to discussions on design patterns and best practices.
Requirements

  • High level of independence and initiative
  • Passion for web development and willingness to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on-site

Technical Skils:

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (or TypeScript), and Python
  • Experience with one or more front-end frameworks such as Vue.js (strongly preferred), React, or Angular.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and their role in modern web development.
  • Familiarity with back-end environments, particularly FastAPI, is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles, including wireframing and prototyping, and the ability to create responsive and accessible web interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems for collaborative development.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required):

  • Exposure to Progressive Web Applications (PWA) or WebSockets
  • Basic understanding of DevOps concepts (e.g., Docker, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and Debian-based Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
  • Advanced Python knowledge (Object-Oriented, Asynchronous I/O)
  • Experience in aerospace and/or related fields
