Tasks

We at EQUIP are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Field Technician. This role is crucial for the proper functioning and management of our stations. Equip is a startup developing and deploying smart sport equipment lockers. We intend to make the sport accessible for everyone, everywhere, in a sustainable way.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the optimal operation of our stations within the designated HUB.
  • Embody the ”cool kid” persona as a brand ambassador for EQUIP, enthusiastically and expertly representing our products. Engage with and educate customers, while also building strong connections with local sports communities to broaden our customer base and our opportunities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, performing repairs as necessary.
  • Monitor the condition of equipment and facilities, proactively addressing potential problems.
  • Coordinate with the technical team for complex maintenance needs or improvements.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Be available for regular tasks 5 days a week, with on top an average of 1 intervention per month outside regular working hours. These require a two hour response time.
  • Provide valuable feedback and resources to the company for product improvement, operational smoothness, and enhancement.
Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Passion for the sports we provide, including basketball and/or football.

• Ability to live on-site and hold a valid driver’s license.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt, as comprehensive training will be provided by our internal team.

• Independence and technical/practical abilities to solve problems on site.

• Passion for representing a brand and its products with excellence.

• Live on-site to maintain a close proximity to the work environment.

• Drive and maintain the provided means of transport (a valid driver’s license is required).
