What are we looking for?
We are looking for skilled DevOps Engineer.
What will you do?
As the perfect candidate for this role, you are passionate about technology, with a deep interest in reliability and automation. You will use your strong engineering skills to prevent production problems. While making customer experience your number one priority, you will use your fast problem solving skills to fix any unanticipated issues. You will have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art technology with a team of demanding professionals where your expertise and interpersonal skills will be greatly valued and continuously developed.
Integrate and review the developments of the technical teams based in Luxembourg, following best practices and Agile values (Scrum). Provide level 3 support for applications developed within the department; intervene quickly to unblock production, reproduce incidents and coordinate the deployment of fixes until the issues are resolved. Perform back-end and/or rich front-end development for several mission-critical applications, with a variety of functionalities and using the latest technologies. Understand the development process holistically and liaise between the development and operational teams. Ensure the application of best practices in development and industrialization Ensure the application and evolutionary maintenance of the solutions under review. Work in close collaboration with the Technical Architect on the choice of solutions and technical upgrades. Write and communicate technical specifications, contribute to the various product backlogs. Implement and monitor software quality metrics.
Required profile.
How do we imagine our future consultant?
Master’s degree in technology or equivalent. Senior Java software engineering knowledge (5 years experience minimum). Experience with software integration and coordination. Strong experience with application debugging and incident resolution. Experience with microservices and APIs. Experience with relational DBs (Oracle, Postgres). Experience as a Tech Lead role: a plus Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (Bamboo, Rundeck, Git, Sonar): a plus. Knowledge of containers and orchestrators; Docker and Kubernetes: a plus. Interest in finance; good financial & compliance controls knowledge: an advantage. Hands-on experience with agile methodologies. Capacity to work independently, excellent organization skills and attention to details. Open-mindedness and team spirit. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both French and English. Residency in Switzerland. Rather than a diploma or extensive experience, it’s your state of mind that will allow you to reach your potential and meet the target with Taleo
