The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

  • Independent production of catalyst material and support with scale-up activities, ensuring all processes adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for the timely production and meticulous documentation of batch production records.
  • Conduct quality control tests to ensure the integrity and quality of each batch before release.
  • Analyze data from production processes, prepare reports, and present technical results to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in production lab organization and cleaning, as well as improvements and maintenance of systems and laboratory equipment.

Requirements

What you need to bring to the role

  • Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician or equivalent education, ideally with 2+ years professional experience in material production in the chemical or food industry or similar field.
  • Excellent quality and safety awareness, organizational skills, and keen attention to details.
  • Independent, analytical, and systematic way of thinking and working.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time-management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-paced environment.
  • An energetic, optimistic individual who works well in a team.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (fluency in German is a plus).
  • Have a Swiss working permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland.
