For its Motion & Bellows Business Unit, VAT is looking for an experienced talented Application Engineer/ Manager with profound knowledge of the Semiconductor industry as well as visionary views on the upcoming challenges of the leading edge SEMI applications. The role is a strategic position responsible to transform the N+2 market requirements into technology and product development roadmaps with underlying solid business cases. The ideal candidate has a proven record of solving leading edge technical challenges for the Semiconductor market. You bring strong business acumen, demonstrate strategic thinking and know how to further build our customer trust and loyalty. You are able to provide fact driven proposals to solve complex problems and are passionate to work with and further develop a globally matrixed team of experienced engineers and product managers.
YOUR CHALLENGES
interacts cross-functionally with local sales & support team, product management, engineering, corporate R&D to ensure alignment with customer’s requirements drive the business development activities by identifying future trends, defining new products and roadmaps with the objective to maximizing sales and market share monitor industry news and competitive landscape, analyze market data to identify new product opportunitiesacting strongly on the technical level and identifying future trends at the customer processes & equipment deriving future technology requirements and actively shape the R&D roadmap along with product management identify and clarify customer’s technical requirements and understanding product requirements (e.g. in technology review meetings) Support execution of marketing strategy and technical marketing campaigns Drive and conduct regular sales and FAE training
