Risk & Compliance Coordinator

Job Purpose 

The Risk and Compliance Coordinator supports the Director of Compliance and the COO/CFO to maintain a robust risk management and compliance system in order to support the development of the School.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk management

• To assist the Director of Compliance in the elaboration, maintenance and improvement of the risk management system.

• To work with risk owners across the School to develop, maintain and regularly review the risk register, as well as to support the implementation of mitigation measures.

• To produce a risk dashboard and analytical reports for various audiences.

• To organise and/or perform internal audits and training.

Compliance

• To assist the School’s data protection officer (DPO) with data protection processes, in particular with the maintenance of the register of processing activities.

• To assist the Director of Compliance with the development and maintenance of a register of regulations applicable to the School.

• To assist the Director of Compliance with development and review of the School Policies, regulations and other internal guidelines.

OTHER TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To support the work of the School’s Security, Health & Safety Committee, and ensure appropriate coordination with risk management processes. 

• To undertake any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned from time to time by the Director of Compliance.

• To comply with the School’s policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding children and young people. 

• To uphold the ethos of the School at all times, in line with the School’s Guiding Principles.
