A private family in Geneva is seeking a warm, dynamic, and proactive bilingual Nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English and will provide a nurturing, engaging, and playful environment for the child. This position is part-time, requiring 30 hours per week, with the potential for occasional flexibility in hours for additional babysitting.

Contract: Long-Term, Part-Time (30 hours per week)

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
  • Childcare: Provide attentive, loving care for a 3-month-old baby, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, and developmentally appropriate play and activities.
  • Bilingual Interaction: Engage with the child in both French and English to encourage bilingual language development through play, reading, and conversation.
  • Engaging Activities: Create a stimulating, safe, and fun environment that encourages the baby's growth and development through interactive and playful activities.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks for the baby.
  • Errands and Household Support: Run occasional errands and assist with light household tasks related to the child, such as laundry, organizing the baby's room, and maintaining a tidy play area.
  • Flexibility: Be adaptable to family needs, including occasional extended hours for babysitting.

Requirements

  • EU Passport or valid Swiss Work Permit.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Nanny or in a similar role, particularly with infants.
  • References: Excellent references from previous employers.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both French and English is essential.
  • Personality Traits: Energetic, dynamic, proactive, and playful with a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the family's needs and provide occasional flexibility in hours.
  • First Aid Certification: Current Infant First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
