Job Description:
The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting the Food segment. This includes the creation, transparent processing for stakeholders as well as reporting and analysis activities based on KPIs such as bias and SFA in order to have the best possible plan in the long, medium and short term.
What are we looking for?
Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience, min. 3 years work experience in Sales or Supply Chain functions
Good knowledge of MS Office, good English language skills, good understanding of supply chain workflows (commercial, production, logistics, sales);
Knowledge of Apollo and Compass
Project management
S&OP+ Facilitation
about 5 years of professional experience, experience in related fields advantageous, . logistics, sales analytics
What will be your key responsibilities?
Periodic creation of the Volume – Demand Plan in Blue Yonder Demand (YEE). To be mapped in period phasing for the food segment of the market. Gathering and taking into account information from sales, marketing, European S&OP+ and local activity management, as well as current market developments.
Provision of additional information for the YEE, such as Risk & Opps List, Assumption List, as well as the corresponding preparation for the various steps of the S&OP+ process.
Contact person and facilitator or representative for Step 2 of the S&OP+ process (DMR).
Quest volume calculations in cooperation with Marketing and Sales (DOPS model) Consideration of the calculated volumes in the sales forecast as part of the S&OP+ process.
Evaluate market and customer trends. Discussion of the results with marketing and sales. Initiation of appropriate actions for portfolio support.
Evaluate the Demand Plan on the basis of bias and SFA and derive and implement resulting measures for improvement.
Optimization of the Ways of Working (WOW) through efficient use of the available tools and systems (Apollo/Compass/Athena/Cognos/QlickView . Request information from sales, as well as support the sales director in optimizing the flow of information.
Provision of data for the periodic European S&OP+ process and explanation of volume changes compared to the previous period. Creation of ad-hoc reports and provision of KPI's.
Supporting the organization and implementation of all necessary measures to create a systemic image of the strategic 5 year plan for the next 39 periods.
