Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the Operations Engineer for Electronic Workplace Solutions and support our global Microsoft 365 platform. You will support projects and global initiatives. You will join a global team of engineers in the area of digital workplace and participate in daily operations, troubleshooting and service management activities. In order to strengthen our team in our global operational headquarter in Greifensee, we are looking for a proactive Microsoft365 Engineer (all genders).
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- Run global workplace operations - specifically InTune, Client (SSCM), Mobile Device Management (InTune) and Azure Active Directory operations utilizing Microsoft 365 technologies
- Evaluate, plan and organize projects as project lead, take responsibility and drive projects
- Support global or local projects as member of the project team in applications and solutions (e.g. Loga3, TCPOS, etc.)
- Responsibility for maintenance, security and taking care of local servers and infrastructure
- Transition / assume responsibility for new solutions from project team into operations and build knowledge and know-how to support new features and functions deployed by project teams
- Responsible for sustainable operations within the Workplace Solution Area as well as its integration with other Solution Areas along the whole solution lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and identify issues raised by the Global Service Desk / Level 1 support and support requirements gathering and design for operational change requests
- Drive the reduction of end user incidents through root cause analysis and end to end quality assurance
- Assess and plan change requests for technical feasibility, effort and risk including cost estimates and act as technical lead in implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support members of the operations team within respective areas to build collaboration, knowledge and expertise across the entire team
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
- You have a degree in Computer Information Systems (or a related field), or equivalent experience
- You bring at least 5 years of work experience and expert knowledge in solution design within a global Enterprise environment (>10’000 users)
- You are skilled in operating, administering, and managing Standardized Clients Management Systems for Microsoft Windows, Apple IOS
- You have experience in Microsoft products such as O365, Azure, Intune, SCCM, etc. and are familiar with Intune for deploying applications and configurations
- You are good in organizing and planning global or local projects and in powershell scripting and have experience in packaging applications and troubleshooting installations
- You have advanced communication, time management and organizational and presentation skills with an analytical and structured approach to problem solving
- You are fluent in English, have very good German language skills and are open for international travel depending on business needs
